Hi

My name is Kiara Pérez and I’m a photographer from Barceloneta, Puerto Rico. To start briefly my first interest in photography started when I was around 14 years old. I have always been passionate about art through paintings and drawings. When I started to take pictures it was always about people in it, even in my drawings. For me it's fascinating to be able to capture portraits of people where they some haw show their personality or the love for each other when I am working with couples. In those teen years I also decided to explore other types of photography. So I did participated at a Environmental Photo Contest in 2011. After that, even though the contest was only about nature, my interest and motivation for photography grew even more. That’s why I decided to study a Bachelor degree of Arts Communication concentrating on Photography at the Universidad del Sagrado Corazón (USC) of Puerto Rico.

I finally had the opportunity to complete the Bachelor in 2016. It helped me alot, including different job experiences, in my development within communications as an artist and photographer. So you can see that in my work I always love to bring color and spontaneity in the best way that I can. The thing that I really love and inspires me the most is the beauty industry. However, my main focus as you see in this website is comercial photography and portraits.
